Angry Birds Action is an excellent and free game based on the Angry Birds movie. The story of the film, in short, is that the pigs have stolen the eggs of the birds. The birds, of course, now want to get those eggs back. You will slip into the role of a bird and try to rescue as many eggs as you can.
The cool thing about this game is that there are multiple different tasks to perform. It is not simply to destroy an enemy, the usual game objective. The game is created as a kind of pinball and puzzle game. This means you need to figure out what to do in as few slingshots as possible. For example, there might be three eggs spread out on the playing field together with a bunch of obstacles. You play Red, the angry bird. You now need to click with the left mouse button on Red and move the mouse back to tighten the slingshot and at the same time aim at the target. The target would be the pig holding the egg.
If you now release the mouse button, Red will charge toward the target. If you hit the target, you rescue one egg. Depending on how much tension you put on the slingshot, Red might now slow down and stop. Or he might ricochet like a pinball on a wall or other obstacles. Because of this ricocheting, you can, if you plan your shot well, get another egg. Maybe even all three. This is the objective. Get as many eggs in as few shots and time as possible.
Is Angry Birds Action for PC?
Sorry, I should have mentioned this before. Angry Birds Action is a game for Android. I played it first on my tablet. But I liked this game. So I installed it (the APK file) on BlueStacks, which is an Android emulator. It works perfectly well. And I like it even better this way because I can now play it on a big screen 🙂
Is it still available?
The last time I tried, I did have some problems finding the game. I even came across the message that the game is not available anymore.
