Free Pacman is built to resemble the original game. So if you have ever been a fan of the original Pacman then you will be at the right place. For those who don’t know the game (is that even possible?), here is the gameplay in short:
Game Play
You will control the little yellow fellow who looks like a pizza with a missing piece through a maze. The mission is to eat all the small dots and the big power pellets. To make your life not too easy there are four ghosts chasing you. Their names are Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (cyan), and Clyde (orange). If they catch you, you lose one life. After you lost three lives it’s game over. However, if you eat one of the big power pellets you can turn the game around and, for a short time, chase the ghosts and eat them for bonus points. As long as you can hunt the ghosts they are blue. They will start blinking before they turn back into their normal form. Ones you ate all dots you advance to the next level.

Pacman was developed and released by Namco, a Japanese video game company. The game is often listed as one of the greatest video games of all time. A fun fact is that the game was created by Toru Iwatani especially to appeal to women. Iwatani felt that arcade games only appealed to men for their violence and chose to create a non-violent, cheerful video game. However, the game became a huge success with all players, no matter what gender or age.
Another fact is that Pacman was the first original gaming mascot. And the game holds eight Guinness World Records, one for the most “coin-operated arcade machines” installed worldwide: 293,822.
