Meet now is a free video-conferencing service from Microsoft. If you are using Skype, you did probably see the new Meet Now button. This tool is just another one in the long list of video conferencing tools (see Jitsi). But its convenience is obvious. Many people already use Skype, so using this new feature does not require additional downloads or configurations. It’s just there, waiting for you.
Meet Now Details
It is easy to set up a meeting. Just sign in to Skype and click on the Meet Now button. You can give your session a name and get a meeting link. You then share that link with anyone you’d like to invite. Once you are ready for your call, you have to choose if the meeting is just audio or an audio/video conference. To start, press Start Call. By the way, you are not restricted to your Skype contacts. You can invite anyone by sending the invite link via email or any messenger software. And your invitation links have no expiration date so that you can create your invite in advance. Perfect for planning ahead!

No problem. If you don’t have Skype, you can use the Online Service. The button below opens the page from where you can start your meeting. There is no sign-up and no download. And you can invite up to 99 people for your call. The duration of each call is up to 24 hours.
