In this second part of our Star Wars game series, “Star Wars – Battle of Endor,” you will fight again against the Empire. In this game, you will try to destroy the new Death Star, which is still under construction. This time you fight against wave after wave of TIE Fighters, TIE Interceptors, Star Destroyers, and Lord Vader’s ship, the Super Star Destroyer Executor.
The Story
Some time has passed since the destruction of the first Death Star, and many battles have been fought. However, the Emperor is still in control of the galaxy, and the Rebels have received information about the construction of a new Death Star near the Moon Endor. This new Death Star is expected to be bigger and more powerful than the old one once it is fully operational. That means no time can be wasted anymore. The Rebels have to attack before the new weapon is complete.
What the Rebels don’t know is that the Emperor intentionally fed the information about the Death Star to the Rebels. He knew they had to attack immediately to avoid total defeat. His evil plan was to trap the Rebel fleet, destroy the Rebels once and for all, and bring Luke Skywalker over to the dark side to join him and replace Darth Vader.
Star Wars – Battle of Endor
The game starts similar to “Star Wars – Battle of Yavin” with the Rebel fleet approaching the Death Star. The Rebels expected the shield protecting the Death Star, generated by shield generators on the moon Endor, to be disabled by a team led by Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. But the shield is still active, and the rebels have to abort the attack. The Emperor’s trap closes. The rebels are now facing the Emperor’s fleet.
As one of the fighter pilots, you’ll have to confront the enemy fighters. The mission is to survive until the shield is deactivated, and once that happens, attack and destroy the Death Star and the Emperor to liberate the galaxy.
